Typography

The type project is a design of a typographic experiment which draws inspiration from the etymology of the term 'Font'.

In the 16th Century, the French word 'Fonte', derived from 'Fondre' (to melt), referred to hot molten metal utilized in crafting metal blocks for typesetting, subsequently employed with ink to produce prints.

The resulting video evokes the concepts of melting, shaping, and printing through the use of black ice made from ink.
